Description

  • Own the full lifecycle of platform features from problem definition and schema modeling through implementation, rollout, and deprecation planning.
  • Design, build, and evolve the H1 Knowledge Graph and Search platform.
  • Lead platform evolution efforts to reduce redundancy, optimize payload size, and improve usability.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and well-scoped Jira tickets while staying hands-on in the codebase.
  • Own and improve data pipelines and transformation workflows that support the Search and Knowledge Graph platform.
  • Define and implement scalable integration patterns for internal and external data exchange.
  • Drive performance, scalability, reliability, observability, testing, and data quality improvements.
  • Lead troubleshooting of complex system and data issues and ensure data security, integrity, and compliance.
  • Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across the team.
  • Use AI-first development tools and practices to improve engineering speed and quality.

Requirements

  • Strong coding skills in Python or NodeJS for high-availability Search and Knowledge Graph platform development.
  • Experience designing and operating data systems and pipelines at scale.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI.
  • Proven experience designing and evolving external-facing Search and Knowledge Graph platforms, including versioning, pagination, and deprecation strategies.
  • Experience with ElasticSearch is a plus.
  • Experience with ETL, healthcare data domains, or customer-facing data delivery systems is a plus.
  • Deep experience in distributed systems, technical design documents, and cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
