Description

  • Design, build, and maintain APIs and services that support the Find Care platform.
  • Contribute to API evolution efforts to reduce redundancy, optimize payload size, and improve usability.
  • Help evolve data pipelines and transformation workflows that support API and flat file delivery.
  • Define and implement scalable integration patterns for API- and file-based data exchange.
  • Drive performance and scalability improvements as data volume and product complexity grow.
  • Troubleshoot complex system and data issues and help establish best practices for reliability, observability, testing, and data quality.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers, stakeholders, engineering, product, and data teams on technical decisions and delivery.
  • Participate in technical discussions and design reviews.
  • Leverage AI-first development tools and practices to improve engineering speed and quality.

Requirements

  • 7–8 years of experience with strong coding skills in Python or NodeJS for high-availability API development.
  • Experience designing and operating data systems and pipelines at scale.
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Git, JIRA, and CI/CD platforms such as CircleCI.
  • Proven experience designing and evolving external-facing APIs, including versioning, pagination, and deprecation strategies.
  • Experience with ElasticSearch, ETL/API design, healthcare data domains, or customer-facing data delivery systems is a plus.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Comfort contributing to technical discussions and design reviews.
