Description

  • Design and implement identity architecture, hybrid sync, Conditional Access, MFA/passwordless, and identity governance in Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
  • Integrate applications using SSO, enterprise app registrations, and SCIM provisioning.
  • Investigate and remediate identity risks using Entra ID Protection, sign-in logs, and audit logs.
  • Design and implement Microsoft Purview controls including sensitivity labels, DLP, retention policies, and data classification.
  • Support eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, communication compliance, and AI data security readiness engagements.
  • Configure device compliance, configuration profiles, and app deployments in Intune.
  • Support Defender XDR capabilities across Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, and Cloud Apps.
  • Manage technical delivery independently within assigned engagements and contribute to internal practice and knowledge sharing.
  • Adhere to GuidePoint Security core values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–5 years of experience in IT administration, identity management, or security operations.
  • Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Entra ID and on-premises Active Directory.
  • Experience with Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and hybrid identity using Entra Connect.
  • Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, Kerberos, and LDAP authentication protocols.
  • Experience implementing Microsoft Purview features such as sensitivity labels, DLP, retention, or eDiscovery.
  • Comfort supporting Intune and Defender XDR.
  • Basic PowerShell scripting experience, including Microsoft Graph PowerShell.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Preferred: advanced AD design and migration experience, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure infrastructure and security, or SharePoint Online, Teams Voice, Power BI/Fabric, Copilot Studio, or Azure AI Foundry experience.
