Description

  • Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries for compensation, vendor accruals, prepaid accounts, fixed assets, expense allocations, and intangibles.
  • Prepare profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve issues for assigned accounts.
  • Support intercompany reconciliations and assist with elimination entries.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and own cash management activities.
  • Support audit and management reporting needs with accurate and timely deliverables.
  • Assist with tax filing requests, business registrations, and other compliance-related tasks.
  • Handle ad hoc financial reporting, reconciliation, and analysis requests with ownership and accountability.
  • Collaborate with Finance, BI, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues.
  • Participate in cross-team training and coverage planning to ensure backup support and knowledge sharing.
  • Support billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other non-month-end areas as business needs arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • 3 years of experience in public company accounting, with 1+ years of audit experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and full-cycle accounting close.
  • Proven ability to connect processes and systems, identify issues, and implement solutions independently.
  • High sense of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks, urgent deliverables, and ad hoc requests.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively drive tasks forward, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate variances and explain financial movements clearly.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large data sets.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, reliable, and audit-ready approach.

  • Base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 plus 10% bonus, for $88,000 to $110,000 OTE.
