Description

  • Review digital products, educational videos, documents, websites, and multimedia content for Section 508 and federal accessibility compliance.
  • Evaluate materials for accessibility across planning, design, production, testing, and final delivery stages.
  • Verify multimedia accessibility features such as synchronized captions, transcripts, audio descriptions, accessible media controls, and keyboard access.
  • Review electronic documents, presentations, reports, training materials, brochures, and other communications for accessibility compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, producers, writers, designers, videographers, SMEs, and Government stakeholders to identify and resolve accessibility issues.
  • Conduct accessibility testing using manual review methods and industry-standard evaluation tools.
  • Document accessibility findings, recommend corrective actions, and verify remediation before Government acceptance.
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance on Section 508 requirements, accessible document development, and multimedia accessibility best practices.
  • Ensure accessibility requirements are built into project plans, production workflows, quality assurance processes, and deliverables.
  • Maintain records of accessibility reviews, testing results, remediation activities, and compliance status.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, Digital Media, Accessibility, Human-Computer Interaction, Education, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Section 508 compliance or digital accessibility initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating and remediating digital content for compliance with federal accessibility standards.
