Description

  • Build user-centered website layouts, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and conversion-focused digital experiences.
  • Own the direction and quality of design initiatives and connect them to broader product and design systems.
  • Drive UI decisions and deliver engineering-ready designs, flows, and components.
  • Lead the website design process from ideation and user research through information architecture, visual design, delivery, and quality assurance.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, copywriters, and engineers to solve complex business problems through digital experiences.
  • Use testing and iteration to improve performance and better meet business objectives and customer needs.
  • Stay current on web trends, best practices, tools, and accessibility standards and apply them to design work.
  • Participate in brainstorms, reviews, and cross-functional collaboration to raise design quality.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of web design experience with a portfolio showing end-to-end ownership, impact, outcomes, and design thinking.
  • Fluency in Figma, including design systems and prototyping for engineering handoff.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Claude, Figma Make, and Gemini.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Front-end development experience preferred.
  • Mobile app experience preferred.
  • Fintech or consumer product background is a plus.
  • Knowledge of standard iOS and Android mobile design patterns.
  • Comfort working independently in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously and with cross-functional teams.

  • Base salary range of $140,000-$190,000 in NY/CA/WA and $140,000-$175,000 in CO.
