Description

  • Troubleshoot, install, configure, repair, and maintain PCs, laptops, retail PoS systems, printers, iOS devices, VoIP phones, and related technology.
  • Support Dell and Nutanix servers, Windows Server 2016/2019, Meraki and Fortinet networking equipment, wireless access points, IoT devices, and ISP circuits.
  • Perform configuration changes, software installations, firmware updates, patching, testing, and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor and resolve incidents and service requests through Freshservice and respond to SolarWinds alerts.
  • Own support for assigned systems or locations, escalating complex issues to senior engineers or management.
  • Complete infrastructure upgrades, site openings, remodels, equipment refreshes, and technology deployments.
  • Create technical documentation, installation records, diagrams, asset information, procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
  • Provide escalation support and guidance to Associate Engineers while identifying opportunities to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Travel to company sites, including occasional last-minute trips, and participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, field services, systems administration, or a related technical role.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot moderately complex hardware, software, server, network, wireless, and connectivity issues.
  • Working knowledge of end-user devices, retail PoS technology, Windows environments, server infrastructure, network equipment, monitoring platforms, and IT service management.
  • Experience with installations, configuration changes, patching, equipment deployments, and preventive maintenance.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document technical work and guide less-experienced team members.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, participate in on-call rotations, and make occasional last-minute trips; preferred residence in Florida, New York, or Pennsylvania.
  • Ability to pass state cannabis licensing requirements, including federal background checks, and hold a valid driver’s license where applicable.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in construction sites and operational facilities involving ladders, tools, cabling, heat, cold, noise, dust, and limited access.

Benefits

  • $75,000–$90,000 USD pay range based on experience, qualifications, and/or location.
  • Potential eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive based on organizational and individual performance.
  • Remote work arrangement with up to 40% travel.
