Description

  • Resolve monitoring alerts, platform incidents, scheduled job failures, and service-impacting issues across client environments.
  • Operate Entra ID, Azure RBAC/PIM, app registrations, service principals, Conditional Access, MFA, and credential lifecycles.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, DNS, mail authentication, data-platform access, SSO integrations, Intune, virtual desktops, and existing Azure infrastructure.
  • Lead major incidents, client-facing technical communications, root cause analyses, and preventive actions.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, operational standards, troubleshooting guidance, escalation criteria, and Confluence documentation.
  • Build safe, idempotent PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation to reduce repetitive operational work.
  • Identify recurring problems, improve monitoring and alerting, and propose self-service workflows.
  • Operate consistently across multiple client tenants while maintaining tenant isolation, delegated-access controls, auditability, and compliance obligations.
  • Review Tier 1 and Tier 2 procedures and identify work suitable for lower-tier ownership.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of cloud, identity, or workplace engineering experience, including L3 or subject-matter-expert responsibilities.
  • Experience serving as a final escalation point in a production environment with service commitments.
  • Degree or equivalent practical experience in IT or a related field.
  • Expert Microsoft 365 administration and deep hands-on Entra ID expertise, including Conditional Access, MFA, SSO, PIM, app registrations, service principals, and Microsoft Graph permissions.
  • Strong Azure operations experience with RBAC, subscriptions, resource groups, virtual machines, storage, Key Vault, and Log Analytics.
  • Expert Intune and endpoint management experience across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, plus Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SAML, SCIM, claims and attribute mapping, DNS, mail authentication, and production-grade PowerShell automation.
  • Required hands-on ServiceNow experience and ITIL-aligned incident, problem, change, and knowledge management practices.
  • Experience with Confluence or an equivalent knowledge platform, monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps entitlement management.
  • Required MSP, managed service, or multi-tenant experience, including delegated administration, privileged access, SLAs, client communication, and tenant separation.
  • Advanced troubleshooting, structured root cause analysis, Zero Trust and least-privilege principles, and strong documentation habits.
  • Preferred certifications include MS-102, SC-300, AZ-104, and MD-102; AZ-500, SC-200, ITIL 4, and regulated-sector experience are advantageous.
