Description

  • Partner cross-functionally across Product, Design, Product Management, and Engineering to establish top-level KPIs, dashboards, and product roadmap planning.
  • Guide the instrumentation of product data to ensure reliable tracking of user behavior and product metrics.
  • Enable and scale the effective use of FullStory and other product analytics tools across Product Design teams to uncover user behavior, pain points, and opportunities.
  • Develop dbt models to transform and test user behavior data in partnership with the Analytics Engineering team.
  • Influence and define best practices and standards for Product Analytics as the company scales.
  • Contribute to the long-term vision and strategy for Product Analytics, balancing near-term needs with scalable, durable solutions.
  • Help build and grow the Product Analytics capability/team during the company’s next stage of growth.

Requirements

  • Experience partnering across product and engineering organizations and supporting Product Design.
  • Familiarity with typical product KPIs and frameworks (e.g., DAU/MAU, funnels, A/B testing).
  • Daily, proficient use of SQL to write complex and efficient queries.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Omni, Hex, or Grafana.
  • Experience writing dbt models and implementing Product Analytics tooling (e.g., FullStory, Heap, Pendo, Amplitude, Rudderstack).
  • Experience with code version control (git).
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) to prototype and iterate across analysis, data modeling, instrumentation, visualization, and code development.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences and maintain cross-team relationships.
  • Bonus: knowledge of observability concepts.
  • Bonus: familiarity with Airflow or Prefect for generating ad hoc ETL jobs.

  • US base salary range: $162,275 - $194,730 (actual compensation varies by level, experience, and location).
