Description

Design and implement high-quality, scalable integrations for infrastructure components, databases, and applications.
Create middleware components, SDKs, and libraries that simplify development and maintenance of observability solutions.
Work with product, design, and documentation teams to develop features aligned with product strategy and customer needs.
Support the technical direction and vision of the team and contribute to strategic discussions.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support teams to deliver a holistic product experience.
Participate in follow-the-sun on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you run.
Represent Grafana Labs in open source forums, working groups, and events when needed.
Contribute to other open-source projects that may fall outside the team’s direct scope.
Work on Kubernetes monitoring and cloud provider observability solutions.
Coach and mentor other team members while helping identify issues in technology and product processes.

Requirements

5+ years of experience with at least one programming language; Go is used, but experience in Python, .NET, Java, Rust, or similar is acceptable with a willingness to learn Go.
In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider, including core services, APIs, identity and access models, networking, and operational patterns.
Experience with cloud-based software development and production systems.
Experience writing clean, maintainable, robust, and performant software.
Familiarity with observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and OpenTelemetry.
Experience driving projects from ideation to production.
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Experience participating in an on-call rotation and incident management.
Preferred: experience designing and building observability backends for various systems and applications.
Preferred: experience contributing to or maintaining open source projects with successful pull requests and community collaboration.
Preferred: understanding of metrics collection, visualization, and alerting concepts.

Base compensation in Sweden of SEK 775,444 - SEK 930,533, with pay varying by location, level, experience, and skillset.
