Description

  • Influence the squad roadmap and set personal career objectives within the Alerting team.
  • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical frontend systems, owning their reliability, performance, and availability.
  • Work with the team to deliver new features, iterate on results, and continuously improve the product.
  • Drive projects from initial ideation through to production operations and customer-facing rollout.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you ship.
  • Collaborate with customers and Grafana Cloud teams and embrace contributions across the open-source ecosystem.
  • Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions, and contribute to technical direction.
  • Learn and deepen understanding of the cloud product, the codebase of a large distributed system, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience using Redux Toolkit and RTK Query for state management and HTTP requests.
  • Familiarity with the grafana/ui component library and the Saga design system.
  • Experience styling React components with Emotion.
  • Experience writing tests with Jest, React Testing Library, and MSW for unit and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with Prettier, ESLint, and other automated code-styling tools.
  • Experience with Webpack as a bundler.
  • Experience working in a monorepo using NX and yarn for workspace management.
  • Strong communication skills, independent work style, and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote-first environment.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and take operational responsibility for services.

  • Spain compensation range: EUR 82,988 - EUR 99,586 (actual compensation varies by level and experience).
