Description

  • Build interactive learning experiences inside Grafana that are smooth, scalable, and easy to use.
  • Improve the learner journey from onboarding through completion.
  • Create workflows and product features that enable contributors, especially non-engineers, to author and improve learning content safely.
  • Support private guides and learning experiences.
  • Build trustworthy progress and completion tracking that measures meaningful learner outcomes.
  • Instrument learning flows to understand what works, what fails, and where learners get stuck.
  • Treat observability as a product principle by improving metrics, logs, traces, and user journey visibility.
  • Work in an AI-assisted development workflow using tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and help support software in production.
  • Write docs, design notes, PR descriptions, and occasionally present or explain decisions to internal or external audiences.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Sweden for this fully remote role.
  • Strong in at least two of these three areas: AI agentic development, serious software engineering fundamentals, or Grafana context.
  • Experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor in real development work.
  • Ability to scope, iterate, validate, and test while managing security and correctness risks.
  • Experience shipping production-grade software changes and explaining technical tradeoffs.
  • Strong understanding of architecture, maintainability, and code quality.
  • Experience using Grafana in real environments such as dashboards, troubleshooting, on-call, or monitoring workflows.
  • Understanding of observability practices and how Grafana fits into them.
  • Bonus points for open source contribution or maintainer experience.
  • Bonus points for full-stack experience; strong frontend-only or backend-only profiles are also welcome.
  • Bonus points for TypeScript and/or Go, Kubernetes familiarity, or experience with Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, Mimir, or OpenTelemetry.

  • Base compensation in Sweden of SEK 775,444 to SEK 930,533, depending on level, experience, and skillset.
