Description

  • Influence the team roadmap and contribute to personal career objectives.
  • Deliver new features with the team and iterate based on results.
  • Drive projects from initial ideation through customer operations.
  • Contribute to open-source projects beyond the immediate team scope.
  • Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems with ownership of reliability, performance, and availability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and own the services you run.
  • Mentor and support team members and join design discussions.
  • Learn the cloud product, customer use cases, and the codebase of a large distributed system.

Requirements

  • Solid experience with the Go programming language.
  • Demonstrated experience working with large distributed systems.
  • Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering through product release in a self-driven way.
  • Experience developing software that runs in the cloud or experience with systems engineering.
  • Experience writing clean, robust, performant software that is maintainable by others.
  • Strong communication skills and an independent working style in a remote-first environment.
  • Motivated self-starter with a bias toward action.
  • Customer-focused mindset and passion for building intuitive products.
  • Pragmatic approach to breaking down complex problems into modular solutions and iterative MVPs.
  • Bonus: experience using Grafana and Prometheus in operational or on-call roles.
  • Bonus: familiarity with on-call work, operations/SRE tasks, or infrastructure as code.

Benefits

  • Base salary range in Ireland: €104,000 - €130,000.
