Description

  • Architect scalable and maintainable frontend solutions using React, modern JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Drive adoption of efficient state management and modular build processes such as Webpack and module federation.
  • Design resilient, failure-tolerant systems with performance and web security in mind.
  • Ship complex, high-quality code to production in a timely manner.
  • Optimize web pages for speed and scalability by tuning the browser event loop and rendering pipeline.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive automated testing infrastructure using Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Mentor junior developers and raise team standards through constructive code reviews.
  • Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Delivery Managers to align technical execution with business goals.
  • Debug deeply rooted technical issues and create proof of concepts for new technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior frontend engineering role shipping complex, user-facing web applications.
  • Deep understanding of modern JavaScript, including the event loop, closures, and async programming.
  • Advanced TypeScript knowledge, including generics and advanced types.
  • Strong command of React core concepts, component lifecycle, rendering optimization, and modern state managers such as Redux or Zustand.
  • Expert knowledge of browser rendering pipeline, DOM manipulation, semantic HTML5, and CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
  • Proficiency in configuring build tools such as Webpack and writing comprehensive automated tests.
  • Ability to clearly articulate architectural decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English and fluent Ukrainian.
  • Familiarity with microservice and event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and WebSockets is preferred.
  • Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and basic AWS, GCP, or Azure knowledge is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and broader system analysis is preferred.
