Description

  • Provide remote counseling services to clients using secure telehealth technology.
  • Complete initial assessments and gather information needed for treatment planning.
  • Support clients experiencing emotional distress, life changes, family or relationship stress, anxiety, depression, and related concerns.
  • Build clear, client-centered treatment plans with practical goals.
  • Use appropriate therapeutic interventions within licensure and training.
  • Maintain accurate and current progress notes, assessments, and client updates.
  • Monitor changes in client symptoms, functioning, and risk level.
  • Refer or escalate care when clients need services outside the scope of telehealth counseling.
  • Uphold professional, ethical, and legal standards for counseling practice in Georgia.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor LPC license in Georgia.
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Experience providing therapy to adults, individuals, or diverse client populations.
  • Comfortable delivering counseling services through telehealth platforms.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a full-time caseload with professionalism and consistency.
  • Private workspace, reliable internet connection, and basic technology skills required.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA-compliant systems and electronic health records preferred.
