Description

  • Own the Cards business strategy, P&L, budget, roadmap, execution, and performance metrics.
  • Define and optimize card-program economics, including revenue, costs, customer margin, retention, monetization, and LTV.
  • Manage the full card customer journey, including onboarding, KYC, issuance, activation, spending, subscriptions, and cashback.
  • Develop virtual and physical card products and improve activation, customer experience, and engagement.
  • Manage issuing, processing, BaaS, and infrastructure-provider relationships, including integrations, negotiations, and critical incidents.
  • Build resilience by reducing vendor lock-in and ensuring reliable operations as the business scales.
  • Partner with Growth, Marketing, Compliance, and engineering on acquisition, activation, retention, and onboarding initiatives.
  • Lead the Cards engineering team and work with the Tech Lead on architecture, delivery, backlog, releases, and incidents.
  • Hire and develop team members and establish a fast, data-driven execution culture using AI and automation where appropriate.
  • Present strategy, performance, and key business decisions to C-level stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Strong end-to-end experience with card products.
  • Experience with issuing, processing, BaaS, or card infrastructure.
  • Experience launching or scaling a card program.
  • Strong understanding of card unit economics, including transaction economics, issuance costs, customer margin, and LTV.
  • Experience negotiating directly with card providers and managing external-provider dependencies.
  • Experience owning revenue or P&L is highly preferred.
  • Strong product, commercial, analytical, and data-driven mindset.
  • Technical literacy and ability to work directly with engineering teams.
  • Experience managing product or engineering teams.
  • Relevant experience in fintech, neobanking, payments, crypto cards, wallets, or exchanges.
