Description

  • Own and evolve the organization’s identity and access management posture using Okta, including SSO integrations, MFA policy design, user lifecycle management, and access controls.
  • Design and maintain least-privilege access models aligned with security and compliance requirements.
  • Administer and scale Apple device management using Jamf, including enrollment, configuration profiles, application deployment, security baselines, compliance reporting, and incident response support.
  • Serve as the technical owner for Google Workspace and Slack, ensuring secure configurations, reliable lifecycle processes, role-based administration, and operational stability.
  • Build and maintain automation to reduce manual work across provisioning, offboarding, access reviews, and device posture reporting.
  • Develop and maintain integrations and workflows using APIs across Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Slack, and related SaaS tools.
  • Apply software engineering practices such as testing, version control, documentation, and code review.
  • Administrate AWS infrastructure, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and Route53.
  • Implement infrastructure as code practices where applicable to standardize configurations and reduce drift.
  • Lead technical troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, and drive permanent remediation for complex cross-system issues.
  • Define, document, and enforce engineering standards for IT systems operations, including change management, runbooks, access controls, naming conventions, and configuration baselines.
  • Partner with Security, HR, and Engineering on secure onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and privileged access workflows.
  • Mentor and upskill junior team members through code reviews, pairing, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering, identity engineering, endpoint management, or adjacent SaaS/IT infrastructure roles.
  • Hands-on experience administering Okta in a production environment, including SSO, MFA, policies, group and rules strategy, and application integrations.
  • Hands-on experience administering Jamf in a production macOS fleet, including packaging and deployment, configuration profiles, compliance and security baselines, and reporting.
  • Strong scripting ability in Bash and/or Python for automation and API-based workflows.
  • Experience using Git-based version control systems, with GitHub preferred.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD practices (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Go (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications or formal training in Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, IAM, or security coursework (preferred).
