Description

Review and authenticate sneaker listings before they are available for sale.
Remove unsafe listings and listings that do not meet marketplace standards.
Verify listing details such as size, condition, accessories, colorway, and release information.
Identify inconsistencies, manipulated photos, and inaccurate product details during the authentication process.
Respond to community and marketing requests for additional item moderation.
Review authentication defect reports to understand failure patterns and support continuous improvement.
Stay current on sneaker authentication methods, release trends, and counterfeit techniques.
Participate in training and mentorship sessions with team leads to build authentication knowledge.
Host training or mentorship sessions and help develop team learning resources, guides, and checkpoints.
Support process improvement initiatives focused on consistency, quality, efficiency, and operational metrics.

Requirements

Work eligibility.
Strong background knowledge of sneakers and footwear.
Strong knowledge and interest in sneakers, sneaker culture, and footwear trends.
Specific interest in sneaker authentication, release history, and counterfeit detection.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly with proven independent problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and consistency in decision-making.
Enthusiasm for Grailed and/or experience as a power user of the Grailed platform.
Professional judgment when handling sensitive, non-public data and information.
Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
Availability to work 20–30 hours per week.
Availability to attend team meetings and collaborate frequently.
Familiarity with sneaker brands and categories such as Nike, Jordan Brand, Adidas/Yeezy, New Balance, ASICS, Converse, Vans, Salomon, HOKA, designer sneakers, and collaborative releases.
