Description

  • Own and grow strategic enterprise accounts in Korea across the full sales cycle.
  • Develop and execute account plans aligned to customer business needs and long-term goals.
  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new opportunities in named large and strategic accounts.
  • Partner with strategic channel organizations to generate qualified leads and new customers.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-sales engagement with solutions architects, customer success, and support teams.
  • Lead account management activities, including regular activity, pipeline, and forecast reporting.
  • Analyze wins and losses, contribute to root cause analysis, and share lessons learned across teams.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback and product ideas through internal and public channels.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to uncover needs and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with large, strategic enterprise customers, ideally in Korea.
  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and develop new opportunities while growing existing accounts.
  • Experience leading pre- and post-sales activities with technical, support, and channel partners.
  • Ability to use consultative selling to build account plans and align solutions to customer outcomes.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and forecast reports.
  • Ability to contribute to win/loss and root cause analysis.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across sales, product, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with software development concepts and tools, with preferred exposure to Git, software development tools, or application lifecycle management.
  • Alignment with GitLab's values and openness to learning.
  • Open to candidates with transferable skills even if they do not meet every requirement exactly.
