Description

  • Own a broad book of business across new prospects and existing accounts in Greece.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery and solution alignment through negotiation and close.
  • Articulate GitLab’s DevSecOps value proposition and connect it to customer business outcomes.
  • Document buying criteria, buying processes, next steps, and owners to maintain an accurate pipeline.
  • Analyze wins and losses and contribute to root cause reviews with relevant internal teams.
  • Partner with business development, marketing, technical teams, and customer success on account strategy and execution.
  • Provide account leadership across pre-sales and post-sales activities.
  • Contribute customer feedback and product ideas through GitLab’s public issue tracker.
  • Help improve the sales handbook by documenting best practices and process refinements.

Requirements

  • Proven success in software sales, ideally in a mid-market or enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing a varied book of business.
  • Ability to guide customers through the full buying journey, including buying criteria and process mapping.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience maintaining accurate pipeline data and account plans based on evidence.
  • Skill in negotiation, executive presentations, and commercial discussions to close opportunities.
  • Experience with win/loss analysis and root cause analysis, with the ability to share insights.
  • Interest in GitLab and open source software; familiarity with Git, software development tools, or application lifecycle management is preferred.
  • Alignment with GitLab’s values and willingness to travel in line with company policy.
  • Location eligibility for candidates based in the UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, or Ireland.
