Description

  • Act as the bridge between Engineering, Product, and Data teams to foster a data-driven approach across the product organization.
  • Translate complex event data into meaningful business metrics such as activation, retention, and churn.
  • Deliver comprehensive deep-dive analyses to identify opportunities for product improvement and inform product strategy.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define success metrics and measure the impact of new features and Product-Led Growth (PLG) initiatives.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to model data in the warehouse (using dbt) and build accessible dashboards to enable self-serve analytics.
  • Build and maintain dashboards in product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Omni) to empower teams to explore data independently.
  • Architect and maintain event-tracking and documentation strategy to ensure high-quality telemetry and trusted, long-term metrics.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting for significant shifts in data volumes and present trends and insights to stakeholders to inform decisions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience using dbt to model data in a modern cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift).
  • Experience generating product insights using product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics).
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Data teams.
  • Experience defining and maintaining event tracking, telemetry instrumentation, and metric definitions to support reliable analysis.
  • Experience building dashboards and enabling self-serve analytics for non-technical stakeholders (Amplitude, Omni, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Omni or Looker (nice to have).
  • B2B SaaS metrics expertise (nice to have).
  • Ability to work full-time remotely within the UK (Monday to Friday).
