Description

  • Deliver member support via phone, chat, and email.
  • Educate members on healthcare benefits and claims, including how to maximize their Garner benefit.
  • Guide members toward the best care options available to them.
  • Handle complex and sensitive conversations with professionalism, empathy, and patience.
  • De-escalate members who are experiencing friction with their benefits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Identify and escalate feedback from member interactions to internal teams.
  • Stay current on evolving procedures and workflows.
  • Protect member privacy and maintain compliance with HIPAA and data security protocols.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of call center or customer service experience.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive and curious problem-solving mindset.
  • Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Technical proficiency with customer service platforms such as Zendesk.
  • Ability to work a schedule between 8 AM and 10 PM ET, with shift preferences considered but not guaranteed.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; sponsorship or visa transfer is not available.
  • Interest in working on a high-performing, mission-driven team with strong individual accountability.

Benefits

  • Base compensation of $22/hour.
  • Additional $0.50/hour for English/Spanish bilingual candidates.
