Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance back-end systems, APIs, and databases for web and mobile applications.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and efficient server-side solutions that meet fintech standards and support high transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver features and services end to end.
  • Help foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the engineering team.
  • Implement code quality, testing, and deployment best practices, including code reviews and automated testing frameworks.
  • Stay current on back-end development, blockchain, and fintech trends and recommend improvements to the product and platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in back-end development, including at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Hands-on experience with Node, Express, TypeScript, and frameworks such as Nest.js to build REST APIs and related services.
  • Strong experience with SQL and exposure to NoSQL is preferred.
  • Experience with microservices and event-based architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with caching and messaging queues such as Kafka.
  • Experience using Postman and Git or Bitbucket.
  • Prior startup experience, including taking a product from zero to one, is a plus.
  • Experience in financial markets or brokerages is a plus.
  • Must be based in Mumbai, India, for this fully remote role.
