Description

  • Define and drive the target-state architecture for core software services and AI-native capabilities.
  • Establish global architecture standards and governance to maximize reuse and align with the technology roadmap.
  • Oversee the architectural design of complex AI systems, AI enablement strategies, data engineering, and governance controls.
  • Lead, scale, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of architects.
  • Partner closely with Product Management and Engineering to align technology decisions across the organization.
  • Translate complex technical trade-offs for executive and engineering stakeholders to support business decisions.
  • Define standards and governance mechanisms for software platform and infrastructure security.
  • Ensure architecture supports regulatory compliance and reduces the risk of data breaches.
  • Evaluate new technologies, third-party integrations, and open-source solutions for platform innovation.
  • Drive system and infrastructure reliability, low latency, and minimal outages.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering and architecture building products and platforms.
  • At least 5 years of senior leadership or director-level experience managing architecture teams.
  • Proven experience designing and deploying distributed, cloud-native architectures, especially on AWS.
  • Experience building AI-native products and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to gain buy-in for large-scale technical changes from executives and engineering teams.
  • Experience leading architectural digital transformations in rapidly growing or unstructured environments.
  • Ability to evaluate technology trade-offs through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and ROI.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Benefits

  • Annual gross fixed pay range of €160,800 to €201,000 plus variable compensation.
  • Non-sales roles are eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
