Description

  • Perform AEM code reviews and implement performance improvements involving Core Web Vitals, Dispatcher/CDN caching, edge routing, and bundle sizes.
  • Lead migrations from legacy, on-premises, or Adobe Managed Services environments to AEM as a Cloud Service.
  • Reconfigure AEM Assets taxonomies, metadata schemas, processing profiles, and permissions for large-scale asset management.
  • Build and optimize content delivery using AEM Edge Delivery Services, Core Components, or headless GraphQL APIs.
  • Configure AEM permission pathways and remediate technical debt within sprint timelines.
  • Document code fixes and create standard operating procedures for client development teams.
  • Support technical handoffs and transition stabilized AEM codebases to clients.
  • Collaborate directly with client teams to explain technical solutions and promote architectural best practices.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM as a Cloud Service, and legacy AEM architectures.
  • Experience deploying and tuning AEM Edge Delivery Services or document-based authoring.
  • Deep knowledge of AEM Dispatcher, OSGi services, Sling Models, and Oak JCR indexing and query optimization.
  • Strong understanding of CDN edge routing, including Fastly or Cloudflare, and web caching strategies.
  • Experience with SSO integrations using SAML or OAuth and content taxonomies.
  • Ability to work directly with clients and clearly communicate complex technical fixes.
  • Remote work capability with willingness to travel.
  • Experience with large-scale AEM migrations and asset architecture remediation is required for the role.
