Description

  • Build and maintain the data platform that supports operational teams and business stakeholders with timely, accurate data.
  • Work with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to transform data into meaningful business insights.
  • Partner with DevOps to codify infrastructure as code and support platform scalability.
  • Deploy new data pipelines.
  • Design and build data observability platforms and metrics.
  • Build metadata-driven pipeline solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize data transformations.
  • Build third-party data integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
  • At least 4 years of work experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with one or more major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL-based and Python data manipulation on large datasets.
  • Experience with AWS and Terraform is preferred.
  • Experience designing ELT/ETL workflows is preferred.
  • Programming experience in Python is preferred.
  • Experience administering or tuning Snowflake is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to dive into unfamiliar problems, learn quickly, and iterate effectively.

  • Salary range of $140,000 to $175,000.
