Description

  • Ingest, normalize, and manage event logs that support live security investigations.
  • Own SIEM deployments end-to-end, including configurations, patches, and uptime.
  • Administer Linux and Windows systems, hypervisors, and cloud assets.
  • Apply federal, DoD, and IC configuration standards across managed systems.
  • Build and support the infrastructure, pipelines, systems, and integrations used for cybersecurity investigations.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with technical peers and non-technical stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain and manage host, VM, and cloud environments.
  • Support or work within networking and firewall environments.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • 5+ years in systems engineering or a similar infrastructure/operations role.
  • Advanced Linux proficiency and comfort working independently from the command line.
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, IPAM, load balancers, and firewalls.
  • Hands-on hypervisor experience with VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, or Citrix XenServer.
  • IAT II certification, or ability to obtain it.
  • CSSP Infrastructure Support certification required within 120 days of hire.
  • Proven root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • SIEM experience with Splunk, Elastic, or ArcSight preferred.
  • Familiarity with Cribl for data aggregation and normalization preferred.
  • Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell preferred.
  • Public cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Rackspace, or private cloud experience with VMware or OpenStack preferred.
