Description

  • Work closely with the QA Lead to improve and deliver the test strategy.
  • Build, structure, and maintain robust automation test frameworks and quality gate criteria.
  • Define and agree engineering quality gates and promote shift-left quality practices within the squad.
  • Act as the principal gatekeeper for quality assurance during release and environmental promotion.
  • Identify defects and collaborate with software engineers while solutions are being developed.
  • Keep automated testing solutions aligned in real time with engineering changes.
  • Identify and deliver required test coverage across the platform.
  • Support the squad in applying QA best practices within agile ceremonies and ways of working.
  • Embrace AI to support QA processes and knowledge sharing while maintaining governance, compliance, and risk controls.

Requirements

  • Proven solid experience with Playwright using JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Ability to build, structure, and maintain automated tests and supporting frameworks from the ground up.
  • Proven solid experience testing APIs and back-end services.
  • Experience with Postman or an equivalent toolset.
  • Ability to build supporting automated test suites.
  • Ability to identify acceptance criteria with product owners and teams, and derive test conditions, scenarios, and test data from them.
  • Solid understanding and experience of functional and non-functional testing approaches.
  • Experience with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps tools and best practices.
  • Experience with basic development tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience writing basic SQL queries.
