Description

  • Manage end-to-end planning and execution of live events.
  • Oversee event concepts, communications, registration, set-up, technology, and logistics.
  • Conduct site visits and present findings to internal stakeholders.
  • Manage event timelines and coordinate deliverables across marketing, content, sales, and other teams.
  • Support the development of concepts and solutions for custom event pitches.
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors and contractors for event production.
  • Negotiate costs related to show production, features, and staffing.
  • Manage insurance requirements for events.
  • Oversee conference producers, deadlines, and delivery milestones.
  • Manage sponsor communications, deliverables, and post-event reports.
  • Maintain budgets through accurate forecasting, tracking, maintenance, and reconciliation.
  • Manage Show Daily distribution at major trade shows, including hotel room drops and show floor distribution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience at the event producer or event manager level.
  • Experience in a conference or tradeshow environment preferred.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end planning and execution of live events, including complex productions.
  • Experience selecting, negotiating, and managing vendor contracts and supplier relationships.
  • Proficiency in budget management, including forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Commercial awareness of event revenue goals, sponsorship, and budget management.
  • Ability to direct event project teams and oversee cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with sponsors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and attention to detail.
