Description

  • Own the Lab bet portfolio, including opportunity sizing, entry and exit criteria, and scale/iterate/kill decisions.
  • Frame and run fast experiments around the riskiest assumption, choosing the right prototype or pilot approach to maximize learning.
  • Synthesize experiment results into clear investment recommendations and eliminate initiatives that are not showing promise.
  • Prepare validated hypotheses, evidence packs, risks, and scaling proposals for bets that are ready to hand off to Core or New Products.
  • Source, close, and manage lighthouse pilots with clear scope, success metrics, and off-ramps.
  • Identify enabling partners and participate in strategic customer and partner calls to support pilot validation.
  • Build and maintain a repeatable Lab operating system, including pipeline reviews, kill reviews, demo days, and post-mortems.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, synthesis, prototyping, and exploration of AI-enabled product ideas.
  • Publish decision memos and share failed experiments transparently to improve team learning.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of product experience with a proven 0→1 track record.
  • Experience personally owning multiple high-risk bets with explicit go/kill decisions.
  • 3+ years of experience managing PMs in a player-coach or group lead role.
  • Fluency with validation methods such as discovery, prototypes, and engineered MVPs, and judgment on when to use each.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience across engineering, design, analytics, and go-to-market teams.
  • Comfort working in pre-sales and pilot settings where learning speed matters more than polish.
  • Hands-on experience using AI as a product-building and exploration tool.
  • Ability to prototype quickly with LLMs, APIs, or modern tooling and ship a functional prototype.
  • Ability to scope AI experiments realistically and assess feasibility without full engineering validation.
  • Experience spotting capability shifts and translating them into testable hypotheses.
  • Ability to evaluate build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions.
  • Fluent in English and Russian.
  • Based in Serbia and available to work remote during core hours of 9:00–18:00 CET.
  • Preferred: founder or co-founder experience, or experience in early-stage startups, internal labs, innovation teams, or new market bets in larger companies.
  • Preferred: payments, fintech, e-commerce, or nonprofit domain experience.
  • Preferred: EU market familiarity, including PSD2/SCA and data/privacy norms, plus additional languages.
