Description

  • Conduct live synchronous online classes for the CISA Certification Training Program.
  • Mentor learners through audit case simulations, risk assessment exercises, and hands-on scenario discussions.
  • Provide exam-focused guidance and practical insights from real-world information systems auditing experience.
  • Teach all five CISA domains, including auditing process, IT governance, systems acquisition and development, operations and business resilience, and protection of information assets.
  • Help learners connect theory with real auditing practices to assess controls and manage IT risk.
  • Support organizational governance, compliance, and assurance learning objectives.
  • Create a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Model professionalism, ethical conduct, and empathy in interactions with learners, staff, and the public.
  • Encourage teamwork and seek feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Active CISA certification is mandatory.
  • ISACA Accredited Instructor status is mandatory; Simplilearn will sponsor the accreditation if needed.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in information systems auditing, IT risk assessment, governance, compliance, or internal controls.
  • Strong expertise in CISA domain areas, including audit planning and execution, IT governance, systems acquisition and development, operations and business resilience, and protection of information assets.
  • Experience with audit frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001, COSO, and ITIL.
  • Practical experience conducting audits, risk assessments, controls testing, compliance reviews, or related assurance activities.
  • Familiarity with IT environments, security controls, cloud governance, and data privacy requirements.
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or professional training experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to simplify complex auditing concepts and explain real-world scenarios and exam strategies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a learner-centric approach.
