Description

  • Teach selected lessons in accordance with learning objectives and provided session plans.
  • Create a positive, professional, and inclusive learning environment for adult learners.
  • Use instructional best practices, tech tools, and real-world examples to support learning.
  • Manage regular communication with students about progress, expectations, milestones, and concerns.
  • Provide individualized support during live class sessions, office hours, and asynchronous communication.
  • Evaluate student performance and progression using course deliverables and rubrics.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to students.
  • Assist with Performance Action Plans for students who need additional support.
  • Serve as a role model and ambassador for the Simplilearn brand.
  • Promote student retention, satisfaction, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of industry experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying AI models.
  • Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning architectures, and core AI/ML concepts.
  • Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Proficiency in Python and data handling libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
  • Practical experience with Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision.
  • Familiarity with generative AI models such as GPT, BERT, and Stable Diffusion.
  • Knowledge of Transformers, RLHF, RAG, and prompt engineering.
  • Applied experience using AI for business or research applications, including implementing or fine-tuning generative or predictive models.
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience in academic or corporate settings is preferred.
  • Advanced degree such as MTech, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or relevant certifications in Data Science/AI are preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex AI topics.
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and staying current with AI and generative technology advances.
  • Part-time availability of approximately 8-10 hours per week.
  • Hourly, non-exempt compensation structure.

Benefits

  • Expected compensation of $55 per hour for candidates who fulfill the qualifications listed.
  • Paid for all time worked as a part-time, non-exempt employee.
  • Remote part-time role.
