Description

  • Define, design, and ship end-to-end patient experiences for the mobile app and occasionally the web platform.
  • Prototype ideas rapidly using Figma, code, AI tools, or other effective methods.
  • Own design craft, including visual quality, interaction thinking, edge cases, and production polish.
  • Review builds after handoff, test flows, catch quality issues, and partner with Engineering through QA.
  • Design commerce experiences for ordering, refills, subscriptions, and account and order management.
  • Set a high bar for mobile information architecture, scalability, and best-practice user experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering from exploration through production.
  • Interview providers and patients to inform design decisions tied to product strategy and business outcomes.
  • Help drive app adoption through App Store presence, growth work, and positioning.
  • Continuously identify opportunities or problems and take ownership to improve the product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio of real, shipped work.
  • Experience designing polished, consumer-facing mobile app experiences, ideally in e-commerce.
  • Strong design opinions with the ability to stay flexible and collaborative.
  • Excellent product taste and the ability to work across strategy, systems thinking, and pixel-level execution.
  • Proactive use of AI tools to improve design workflow, with clear examples of practical application.
  • Deep focus on user experience quality, including speed, reliability, responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-device consistency.
  • Experience defining and owning projects and requirements, with a bias toward raising the bar.
  • A bias toward building, testing, learning, and shipping in an experimental environment.
  • Experience designing mobile apps in healthcare, diagnostics, clinical products, wellness, or regulated consumer experiences is a plus.
  • Public design artifacts such as side projects, prototypes, open-source contributions, posts, or experiments are a plus.
