Description

  • Plan solution designs and release strategies with other engineering teams and stakeholders.
  • Implement the core business logic for patient workflows.
  • Build and maintain the GraphQL layer.
  • Solve performance issues in the backend platform.
  • Contribute technical improvements and help maintain quality standards.
  • Participate in code review processes.
  • Provide mentorship to other engineers.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver a high-quality, care-focused experience.

Requirements

  • Experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
  • Strong focus on building high-quality, maintainable systems.
  • Experience writing automated tests and understanding their role in safe, continuous delivery.
  • Ability to apply sound design principles and clean code practices.
  • Open to feedback and able to contribute to a culture of learning and mentorship.
  • Comfort using modern development tools, including AI-assisted tooling, and willingness to experiment with workflow improvements.
  • Bonus: experience scaling or working on high-scale web applications.
  • Bonus: past experience in e-commerce or the health-tech sector.
  • Bonus: experience with React or GraphQL.
  • Bonus: experience working on mobile applications.
