Description

  • Define and own the AI Pricing platform vision, roadmap, priorities, and product backlog.
  • Translate actuarial pricing workflows into user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features based on client needs, platform scalability, risk management, and delivery objectives.
  • Establish testing frameworks, validation standards, performance benchmarks, and release-readiness criteria for AI pricing use cases.
  • Provide life insurance pricing expertise to support model, product, and actuarial-framework onboarding.
  • Capture pricing logic, assumptions, governance requirements, and real-world pricing processes with actuarial stakeholders.
  • Coordinate actuarial, engineering, AI, architecture, testing, client, IT, and model governance teams across workstreams.
  • Manage product dependencies, risks, stakeholder expectations, and delivery outcomes.
  • Present product progress, demonstrations, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure AI outputs are transparent, traceable, reproducible, auditable, and aligned with regulatory and model-risk requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary (FSA, FIA, FIAA, or equivalent).
  • 10+ years of experience in life insurance actuarial functions, pricing, modelling, or actuarial technology.
  • Hands-on experience with life insurance pricing models and actuarial software.
  • Deep knowledge of product pricing, profit testing, reserving methodologies, capital and RBC frameworks, IFRS 17 fundamentals, and regulatory filing processes.
  • Experience partnering with technology, modelling, or software development teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Practical experience using AI and LLM-based tools, including their validation, governance, strengths, and limitations.
  • Experience with Prophet (FIS), Moody's AXIS, MG-ALFA, RiskAgility, or other actuarial modelling platforms (preferred).
  • Product Owner or product management experience, transformation or digital innovation exposure, Asia life-insurer experience, knowledge of relevant life products, and basic Python or SQL skills (preferred).
