Description

  • Lead QA strategy to reduce post-launch defects and protect the user experience across CMS-driven websites.
  • Proactively identify release risks, validate functionality across devices and browsers, and strengthen pre-release test coverage.
  • Integrate QA throughout the development lifecycle and collaborate with engineering, design, and project management.
  • Apply and refine QA tools, frameworks, and processes to improve efficiency and testing consistency across projects.
  • Align QA efforts with project goals, timelines, and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Create test plans and structured test cases for web applications and CMS-driven sites.
  • Perform manual, visual, and functional testing throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Document defects clearly, including reproducible steps and actionable bug reports.
  • Validate responsive behavior and cross-platform consistency across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Manage QA across multiple projects in a fast-moving agency environment while maintaining attention to detail and product ownership.

Requirements

  • Strong manual QA fundamentals, including creating clear test plans and structured test cases.
  • Experience validating web applications and CMS-driven websites.
  • Ability to identify defects, document reproduction steps, and spot usability or quality risks.
  • Comfort testing across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Experience using tools like BrowserStack for cross-platform validation (preferred).
  • Clear asynchronous communication skills and ability to write actionable bug tickets.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed engineering, design, and project management teams.
  • Experience managing QA across multiple projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership of product quality.
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere around the globe.
