Description

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the O2 orderbook exchange, including spot trading, market making, and cross-chain integrations.
  • Translate the company mission into product milestones and success metrics that balance user experience, scalability, and decentralization.
  • Lead product discovery by identifying user pain points, analyzing competitors, and validating hypotheses through usage data and user interviews.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and research to deliver features end-to-end, from contracts and API design to front-end UX.
  • Work with marketing, business development, and community teams to create markets, acquire traders, and support ecosystem growth.
  • Develop and manage incentive programs such as trading rewards, referral systems, and rebates to drive healthy long-term growth.
  • Define core KPIs such as volume, retention, liquidity depth, and user growth, and use analytics to prioritize roadmap decisions.
  • Establish experimentation frameworks, including A/B tests, on-chain metrics, and incentive feedback loops.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop team members as the organization scales.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, iteration, curiosity, speed, and high product quality.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, including 3+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience launching and scaling complex financial or trading products, such as crypto, fintech, or exchanges.
  • Experience driving user acquisition and growth in close partnership with marketing and business development.
  • Strong analytical mindset with comfort using data to evaluate product performance and inform decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for decentralized systems, user empowerment, and building products that improve financial access.
  • Experience as an early-stage startup or founding product leader is preferred.
  • Familiarity with on-chain data analysis tools such as Dune, Nansen, or Flipside is preferred.
  • Previous collaboration with blockchain engineering teams using Solidity, Rust, or TypeScript stacks is preferred.
  • Experience designing or running incentive programs, and contributions to DeFi or open-source protocols, are preferred.
