Description

Research and source editorial speakers (notable authors, business executives, activists, academics) for events.
Pitch, contact, and secure speaker bookings, conveying interest and enthusiasm to close engagements.
Track and report progress toward booking goals.
Update and maintain contact-management/CRM systems with outreach status and speaker details.
Manage the speaker preparation process and pre-event coordination.
Coordinate scheduling and logistics for speaker engagements.
Support on-site speaker needs and attend conferences as required.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years professional experience in a related role.
4-year college/university degree.
Basic knowledge of business software such as MS Office, Google For Business, or similar.
Skill and experience writing in a business context.
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage in persuasive, enthusiastic conversations to secure engagements.
Experience with contact management/CRM systems.
Availability to travel to conferences around the country every few weeks during fall, winter, and spring.
