Description

  • Respond to security alerts, investigate incidents, contain threats, remediate issues, and document outcomes.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, including monitoring reviews, patch coordination, system cleanup, and environment standardization.
  • Automate repeatable tasks with PowerShell, including onboarding/offboarding, reporting, and recurring fixes.
  • Manage ticket workflows and client communication in ConnectWise Manage.
  • Perform remote monitoring and remediation using Datto RMM.
  • Create and maintain documentation and procedures for repeatable solutions.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning and testing across client environments.
  • Execute emergency VM and server recovery when needed.
  • Troubleshoot and administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 environments and Azure identity and security settings.
  • Support networking infrastructure such as firewalls, VPNs, switching, and Wi-Fi.
  • Participate in a limited on-call rotation for critical server outages.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of strong MSP experience supporting multiple client environments.
  • Advanced Windows Server administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong networking knowledge, including firewalls, VPNs, switching, and Wi-Fi.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Azure fundamentals, including identity, email, and security settings.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and preventive work.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms, especially Hyper-V; high availability experience is a plus.
  • Experience responding to security alerts and incidents, with Huntress and Blumira; ThreatLocker is preferred.
  • Experience with ConnectWise Manage and Datto RMM.
  • Proven experience handling disaster recovery and server/network failure scenarios.
  • Excellent documentation habits and professional English communication skills.
  • Ability to work U.S. Eastern Time hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm ET.
