Description

  • Design and develop scalable backend services for order routing, risk checks, and balance tracking.
  • Optimize platform performance for low-latency API requests and real-time data feeds.
  • Ensure system resilience under load using circuit breakers, graceful degradation, and auto-recovery mechanisms.
  • Implement and monitor security controls, including API key access, rate limiting, and trade validation.
  • Write unit and integration tests with high coverage and measurable SLAs.
  • Participate in incident response and postmortems to improve system reliability.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the trading platform’s core infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in .NET (C#).
  • Strong knowledge of concurrent systems, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems such as Kafka or NATS.
  • Experience designing systems with 99.95%+ uptime, ideally in financial or high-throughput environments.
  • Solid understanding of API security, data integrity, and auditability.
  • Proven experience in profiling, benchmarking, and performance tuning.
  • Experience with FIX, WebSocket, and REST trading APIs is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native deployments such as Kubernetes, Istio, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
  • Contributions to high-stakes production systems in fintech or crypto are preferred.
