Description

  • Develop game features from prototype through live operations while maintaining quality and stability across the full lifecycle.
  • Design, implement, and support scalable CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.
  • Profile and analyze backend systems to diagnose and fix complex bugs and performance issues.
  • Perform backend load testing to ensure infrastructure can handle scale and peak player activity.
  • Collaborate with client-side engineers to build secure, server-authoritative gameplay systems.
  • Build and maintain DevOps workflows in a cloud-based environment, primarily on AWS.
  • Create clear technical documentation that explains design decisions and system architecture.
  • Contribute to studio engineering standards, code quality practices, and development guidelines.

Requirements

  • Extensive software engineering experience in the games industry or with large-scale, real-time, low-latency systems.
  • Hands-on experience developing backend services for real-time multiplayer Unity games or streaming solutions using C# and .NET is strongly preferred.
  • Strong background in building multi-service backends using AWS cloud infrastructure and tools.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative development environment and incorporating feedback to refine features.
  • Collaborative experience working on cross-discipline teams with designers, artists, and engineers.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings.
  • Strong understanding of game mechanics, systems design, and how technical choices affect player experience.
  • Fluent in English with clear written and verbal communication skills.
