Description

  • Manage accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing, coding, and weekly payment runs by check or ACH.
  • Oversee accounts receivable activities, including customer billing, aging review, and collections to support cash flow.
  • Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with travel and expense policies.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries for payroll, depreciation, and amortization.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.
  • Support the Controller by preparing reconciliations and documentation for final review.
  • Manage the fixed asset register and track capital expenditures.
  • Assist with month-end close by maintaining the close calendar and completing tasks accurately and on time.
  • Perform variance analysis to explain budget-to-actual fluctuations.
  • Provide financial insights to help department leaders manage spending and budgets.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase accounting efficiency and shorten the close cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant experience.
  • 2–5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a small-to-mid-sized company environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and Pivot Tables.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting principles to complex transactions.
  • Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and proactively solve accounting issues.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.
  • Fully remote work location.

  • Estimated compensation range of $75,000–$85,000 USD.
