Description

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospective customers.
  • Support Account Executives and Account Managers with technical demos for unique workflows, third-party integrations, and new challenges.
  • Partner with sales executives to plan and execute presentations for enterprise deals.
  • Participate in on-site demonstrations for enterprise accounts, including 10-20% travel.
  • Use technology during the sales process to identify additional customer problems and opportunities.
  • Attend weekly and quarterly sales meetings, customer success meetings, development standups, and quarterly strategy sessions.
  • Develop trusted relationships with prospects by understanding their business requirements and needs.
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence.
  • Communicate client and prospect feedback to the product team for future enhancements.
  • Organize themes and trends from the sales cycle and share them with executive and product teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or in a similar professional role.
  • Knowledge of or direct experience in software development.
  • Practical experience with building or industrial automation systems.
  • Proven ability to integrate various software packages effectively.
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and apply them to real-world business challenges.
  • High coachability and rapid adaptability.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong task management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly establish relationships, especially over the phone.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to actively listen, identify core needs, and align solutions with FMX.

  • Must be able to complete a background check prior to onboarding.
  • Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH during the first week of onboarding.
