Description

  • Partner with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource plans.
  • Lead and manage a global technical team of onshore and offshore consultants and contractors.
  • Serve as the liaison between the technical team, project managers, business contacts, and QA teams.
  • Provide technical guidance on architecture, design decisions, code reviews, documentation practices, and execution standards.
  • Oversee data and document migration efforts for life sciences clients across small, medium, and large enterprises.
  • Translate client business objectives into technical requirements and migration solutions.
  • Identify, communicate, and help mitigate technical risks, issues, and roadblocks.
  • Manage change orders by defining technical scope, estimates, and resource needs.
  • Work closely with QA teams to define test strategies, review test plans, and support defect and performance issue resolution.
  • Support pre-sales activities by providing technical input for solutions, estimates, and proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data and document migration.
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in the life sciences industry.
  • Advanced experience with Veeva Vault RIM, migration tools, SQL, XML, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with both cloud-based and on-premise solutions.
  • Strong understanding of life sciences regulations, compliance requirements, validation processes, and GxP-validated systems.
  • Remote role with occasional domestic and international travel as needed.
  • Must be based in the United States and authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, prioritization, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams, including offshore resources and external providers.
  • Ability to prepare written and verbal presentations, technical documents, and reports.
