Description

  • Represent the site professionally when interacting with site staff, sponsors, IRBs, patients, and clinical office personnel.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of study charts using SOPs, policies, GCP, GDP, and sponsor protocols.
  • Identify missing or discrepant data points and report trends to the QC Manager, Team Leads, and upper management.
  • Accurately enter data into the eCRF/CRF system according to sponsor guidelines and within required timelines.
  • Report source-to-CRF/eCRF discrepancies to the clinical research coordinator, QC Manager, Team Leads, and upper management.
  • Resolve open queries accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with sponsor monitor visits and help resolve queries during visits.
  • Support training and onboarding procedures for new staff.
  • Work closely with internal staff and sponsor representatives in a professional manner.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by management in a time- and cost-effective manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in clinical or biological research.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, and other internet-based applications.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to adapt and take on additional tasks as requested.
  • Ability to understand medical terminology and research concepts.
  • Ability to identify appropriate subject care and communicate professionally with physicians, pharmaceutical sponsors/CROs, and IRBs.
  • Knowledge of Flourish processes is preferred.
  • Knowledge of clinical research industry guidelines and regulations is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a typical office environment with daily computer use.
  • Local travel required and access to a daily automobile is required.
  • Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends.
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds, and occasionally more than 35 pounds.
