Description

  • Identify, recruit, and personally enroll senior Salesforce executives from large enterprise accounts into an invitation-only council and maintain a curated target member list.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted relationship manager for all members, owning the member experience from invitation through ongoing engagement.
  • Design the programming calendar and curate 6–8 content tracks (e.g., budgeting, hiring, innovation, governance, data strategy), including session topics, panel compositions, and roundtable formats.
  • Source, prepare, and coach council members to serve as panelists and discussion leads to enable candid peer-to-peer learning.
  • Lead facilitation for all community sessions—moderate panels, run roundtable ideation, set session tone, manage energy, and ensure actionable takeaways.
  • Enforce Chatham House Rules and a strict no-sales-pitch policy to maintain confidentiality, trust, and vendor-neutrality.
  • Build and manage the community infrastructure and communication channels, foster year-round engagement, facilitate introductions, and spark asynchronous discussions.
  • Track member engagement, satisfaction, and feedback and use quantitative and qualitative insight to continuously improve the experience.
  • Manage all operational logistics including scheduling, invitations, session preparation, follow-up communications, onboarding, and travel planning for in-person engagements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in community management, executive engagement, customer advisory boards, or field/event marketing at the enterprise level.
  • Proven track record of building and growing executive-level communities or councils—ideally from inception.
  • Deep familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem, including platform landscape and major players affecting large Salesforce organizations.
  • Experience engaging with C-suite and VP-level stakeholders at Fortune 500 or Global 2000 companies and comfort leading senior executive conversations.
  • Strong facilitation skills with experience moderating panels and running roundtables among opinionated executives.
  • Demonstrated content instincts and the ability to design programming that drives executive attendance and engagement.
  • Ability to act as a strategic partner—surfacing market trends and member insights to inform company strategy while protecting the community’s neutrality.
  • You are a builder who thrives in ambiguity, owns outcomes, is a natural connector, and can execute operational details alongside long-term strategy.
  • Nice to have: prior experience running a Customer Advisory Board or executive peer network in B2B SaaS/enterprise tech, an existing network of senior Salesforce contacts, experience in DevOps/release management or regulated industries, or background in executive coaching, organizational development, or strategic consulting.
