Description

  • Own and prioritize quality backlogs covering bugs, risks, and improvements so critical issues are addressed first.
  • Lead triage and ranking of issues with input from QA, Support, Product, and Engineering.
  • Translate product features into clear projects with defined deliverables and milestones.
  • Validate and approve features before release, with attention to core flows, usability, and risk management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, project managers, and product managers to deliver high-quality experiences.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for quality standards, validation strategy, and testing expectations across teams.
  • Maintain and update internal product documentation, playbooks, and test case repositories.
  • Support product operationalization by embedding new features into tools, reporting, and internal enablement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in QA, product quality, or product ownership, ideally in SaaS environments.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycles and testing practices.
  • Experience leading cross-functional delivery initiatives across multiple teams or product domains.
  • Ability to anticipate risks, identify patterns in recurring defects, and drive proactive solutions.
  • Comfort managing multiple quality backlogs and prioritizing the most critical issues.
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with broader business outcomes when validating readiness and usability.
  • Track record of improving throughput by reducing defect leakage and strengthening release readiness.
  • Experience in fintech or high-availability SaaS environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and automated testing frameworks is preferred.
  • Contributions to open-source testing or observability tools are preferred.

Benefits

  • Compensation range of $96,500 to $145,000 CAD annually for experienced and qualified hires in Canada at IC3 to IC4 level.
