Description

  • Design, build, and support secure infrastructure and cloud platform components for an enterprise application development project.
  • Own infrastructure, identity, and secure operations work across the platform.
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to solve complex problems and share responsibility for team outcomes.
  • Implement infrastructure as code and CI/CD workflows to support reliable delivery.
  • Apply test-driven development with full code coverage, including automated unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Work across Python and TypeScript codebases as needed, while focusing primarily on infrastructure and security.
  • Build and maintain observability capabilities, including logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Contribute to open source and transparent development practices.
  • Help shape developer experience and structure repositories to support AI coding agents.
  • Participate in continuous improvement by giving and receiving constructive feedback and addressing root causes of issues.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of engineering experience, with depth in infrastructure, cloud, or platform work.
  • Strong AWS and cloud architecture experience.
  • Extensive FedRAMP experience.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, particularly Terraform and Helm.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with identity and access management, including SSO/OIDC, SAML, and SCIM provisioning; Keycloak and/or enterprise ICAM is a strong plus.
  • Expertise in observability, including logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Ability to work effectively across Python and TypeScript codebases; FastAPI, Astro, or SvelteKit experience is a plus.
  • Experience with test-driven development, automated unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
  • Comfort using AI coding agents and structuring repositories for them.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Superb time-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
