Description

  • Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend modules to support operational workflows.
  • Integrate the platform with external systems, including HR systems, rostering platforms, and telematics sources.
  • Implement data transformation, validation rules, and complex business logic.
  • Ensure security through authentication, authorization, and data protection standards.
  • Optimize service performance and efficiency for high-volume operational data.
  • Collaborate with a Client Data Engineer and internal Frontend Developer to deliver end-to-end functionality.
  • Maintain version control, documentation, and coding standards.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with modern backend frameworks such as .NET Core, Node.js, Java, or similar.
  • Experience developing secure, scalable REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Practical knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth2 and JWT.
  • Strong debugging, optimization, and problem-solving skills.
