Description

  • Review a participant database to identify candidates who meet study eligibility criteria.
  • Reach out to prospective participants by email, phone, or text to assess interest and confirm fit.
  • Schedule and coordinate on-site visits based on participant availability and the research calendar.
  • Send reminders, confirmations, and pre-visit instructions to reduce no-shows.
  • Track participant status, communications, and scheduling in a shared system and keep records accurate.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for participant questions before visits.
  • Flag recruitment gaps or scheduling shortfalls early so the team can adjust.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and reliable follow-through on administrative tasks with minimal oversight.
  • Clear, warm, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort working with databases, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and email.
  • Discretion and care in handling sensitive personal and health-related information.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time within a roughly 10 hours per week commitment.
  • Prior experience in clinical research coordination, participant recruitment, or a study/lab setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with human-subjects research practices or IRB processes is preferred.

Benefits

  • Part-time contractor role with roughly 10 hours per week.
  • Fully remote work with no in-person presence required.
  • Pay range of $30 to $50 per hour.
  • Contractor arrangement through a third-party staffing company.
  • Certain employee benefits may be available through the staffing company after meeting minimum criteria.
